what i would do it is when i set manual mode, that autostart dissable automatically. when choice in my case power sweep, it enable automatically.

Yes, it’s a good idea, auto start is not usefull in manual mode

Just a minor change I'd like to see:

I normally let the vehicle idle on the drum to warm the oils

when i click on rpm setting it will kill the car because the load slider is on from the previous car setting. Can you default it back to no load after rpm is set so next car doesn't die on me????

just a minor pain in my butt. lol 🙂

I think this may be the same issue I'm having...  https://yourdyno.com/community/questions-and-answers-questions-and-answers/issues-with-hydraulic-brake/#post-5337

Hi, dual screen is supported. One for the Gauges and one for the Graphs. Is that what you meant?

Hi.

Is there any plan for dual screen setup or even 3 screen? one only for customer view with maybe just live graph and splash screen?

Regards Sigve

I see this dyno test and I like the ideea with dotted line for first run and full line for second run. Also, can you make it to show max power and torque like in this image.

Best regards Jostein

Good work

This would be super nice, also when moving the line the HP nr should shown, and the diffrence would be nice to see

@mjpower

I’ve asked Jostein in the past and he said he’ll work on it. A bit different approach though, I’ve opted to have an option to make markers, so you can compare a specific point in the graph.

for instance max numbers could be only 10hp apart, while somewhere in the rev range it could be 50hp. So you can add a marker at that point of the graph clearly showing the difference between the two (or multiple)

How about this, does this work now..? this must be the most important feature of them all

@admin Looks like I spoke too soon.

I tried again on another run, at first it did not work, then when I tried again the system crashed. I have retried a few times and it alternates between not saving the comment or crashing the system.

Attached screen shot of error message

@admin

Thanks for the reply

I've just checked again and if I save the run it stays with the file as you say.

I don't know what I was doing before but I have tried this already and it did not work but it's all good now! 🤷🏼‍♂️

@oxracing, you enter the comments in the main window in the Comments column. This can be done any time after the run is complete.

It is stored in the csv file and will appear again when you read back the file. I just double checked, and it works just as it should. Can you explain again the issue you see?

Hi

What is the best way to add comments to a run?

I tried to add comments on the run page but I get a message 'Changes are not done here. Make changes in the table in the main window'

If I add comments after the run is saved then the comments don't stay with the run, even if I save the run again after adding the comments

Thanks

What about the ability to automatically control the throttle based upon an graph similar to the rpm curves.

I currently use a servo motor to operate the throttle and would be great to be able to link into the yourdyno system and automate once the run button is pressed.

Thanks,

Dave

Hi,

maybe I missed a functionality, or a way to setup it, but I would like to setup the brake to do some "road simulation" or warmup before the dyno runs.

I was thinking about an option to use "brake control" with roller rpm, or speed, instead of engine rpm.

the second thing I am missing, is an automatic coasting after a run: I know it could be somehow difficult to setup, but sometimes I miss a run by not going over the "end run rpm" due to little wheel slip. Sometimes I can manually force the coasting, sometimes not.

thanks

Hello, a "rpm and throttle % controlled" VS time would be great to do brake in the engine after a full rebuilding. it can be be a road or track simulation.

Do you think i could be done with a plugin?  (maybe using the second output to use a stepper motor to control the throttle)

I just bought a complete yourdyno kit to use with a truck telma retarder. i will do an engine dyno and it would be great to brake in the engine on the dyno (better than doing it on road, it's boring and not all the customers are following the instructions).

Your product is great, looking forward to receive and use it.

Thank you for your answer

Hey Tuners!

YourDyno version 3.2.139 (beta) was released today. Here are the highlights:

  • Live graphs in the main window 😎! See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G5lXFlYo6t8
  • Ability to manually scale axis in the main graph areas. Right click on the axis to bring up the Manual scaling window, or right click in the graph and click "Set Scale manually". The previous "Set scale to default" was renamed to "Auto scale"
  • A few other smaller cleanups

Note that this is a rather large change internally, so upgrade when you have a little time to check that everything is ok.

As always, let me know of any issues!
