@bendd regarding cropping. You cannot undo a crop on imported runs by right clicking, because of the file format. However, crops are not stored either, so just unload the run and read it again ang it will be back to how it was.

For runs in UnaVision you can crop and uncrop.

The best is to crop in Results vs Time. All tabs are updated if you do crop in one. Crops in Results vs RPM is sometimes not possible, for example when RPM goes up then goes down again.

Awesome work on the upgrade! Love the data setup. Makes searching runs so much easier now.

I have an issue where the roller size isn’t staying updated. Seems to default back to 100cm.

also the after a run is manually stopped (although haven’t checked in auto mode) the brake doesn’t seem to apply to slow down untill near the 1000 rpm zone.

I there a way to import all the original Dyno setup files to UnaVision? So retarder settings and calibration data etc copy across from old to new?

thanks again 🙂

Regarding the cropping tool, I cannot get the undo function to work.

I liked it better when it was a box rather than a vertical line on the x axis

Bug in the cropping, which I think has been there since the cropping tool was revised. If you have some noise etc you want to smooth, then smooth function always uses the first place you started cropping.

So if i smooth 4000-4200 rpm that's fine.  But then if i try and do 4200-4300 it instead draws a straight line from 4000-4300.

@max-irvin check the RPM settings in Options->RPM and Frequency channels. If you cannot figure it out, send a copy of the settings to jostein@yourdyno.com and I will take a look.

Hi All,

I've had an issue switching from 3.3.97 to UNA Vision 4.0.33. Its seems the dyno settings have not transfered corretly causing the Software to not recognise the dyno rpm. The gauges indicate rpm. Setting gear ratio i get error - your dyno cannot calculate gear ratio when roller is not operating. Staus = Idle.

Uninstalling and starting fresh fixes the issue. importing the initial backup causes the fault to return.

I just want to import my load cell calibration so i dont have to dissassemble the dyno for calibration.

Very excited for the new Software!

@hansl the plugins are now here: c:\ProgramData\UnaVisionPlugins. Put the CANTool config there. For the PTH200 you need to enter the folder location for the Dracal program. This is normally C:\program files (x86)\DracalView. You should find the file usbtenkiget.exe there.

Upgraded to the latest version. The plug-in's do not seem to work. The Canbus plugin does not work after re-entering the same parameters for the data channel. The PTH200 eternal temperature plugin does not work. The folder location for the software is correct, but it does not detect the sensors.  I uninstalled and went back to version 3.3.97 and all the stuff is working again.

I think also something w the re run is a bit buggy. Ive re ran a run w the same settings (first clicked the load options button and loaded the engine/vehicle dependent settings). somehow the lambda channel doesn't get plotted in the re ran run, and the brake % is shifted by 500 rpm somehow. the wheel power/torque is also just so slight different, which I don't really understand the reason for it yet.

Hi,

Some new experience..

Run windows/Brake setup/select visible tabs

The disabled tabs should be removed from the BrakeControl/dropdown menu.

Main window "re-Run" checkbox should be disabled after the 1st press and reenable just after the rerun finished.

because no any feedback and may takes long time, pressing several time it will makes alot of copies...

Probably BUG:

after a run, adding a new math channel then "re-run" the channel value  will be in the newly created run but the source  threated as 0

as on the image, map5 defined as "CAN-DLog.MAPv" * 5 + 12, on the result just show as constant 12 while the CAN-DLog.MAPv changing..

Hi folks,

Another quick update, version 4.0.33.

Fix: Printing bug

Note: If you experience slow loading of runs from the database, turn off Average channel calculation on all channels (Options->Average Calculation)

@hondarulez no, it should just take a second or so. Export the database and send it to me and I can check here. Send to jostein@yourdyno.com

Hi folks!

Nice to see all the good feedback on the new software version.

Here is an important fix: Version 4.0.32

It fixes a bug where runs were not stored correctly in the database if Auto stop and Retardation run both were on.

Any issues, let me know.
