Q&A Forum
Hi, not sure I understood properly. Can you expand on the idea?
Hi, Another few little things that would be nice for a future update.
It would be nice to be able to define a different hot key for a new run with a new retardation run and a new run with stored data.
Also would it be possible to have some button's in the run Windows where you can choose the mode? Power sweep, manual brake control ect. I swap between these alot and going into the brake setup window and selecting it there is a minor annoyance.
Last one being when you select manual brake control it asks to turn off inertial compensation, would it be possible to have it automatically turn back on when you go to back to power sweep? Or ask or even a setting where you can choose if asks or does it automatically or nothing?

Instead of having to manually input the rpm which we want to sync the dyno on, maybe you can add a drop down menu with choices like 2000-2500-3000-3500-4000 etc.
I think thats a good idea.
Especially if you have a car with all its details already recorded all you need then is a mouse to select the predefined rpm intervals. I always use 2000rpm for the calibration to tacho rpm.

I am in for this! Well, or a manual correction reference point.
Formula editor for creating custom Formulas using values(tags) from runs in combination with equations.
Result from formula can for example be used for showing N/A Power off a boosted car or deviation from a "base run" in the log. Usefull for ignition tuning.
Hi.
I would really like a max HP and Torque displayed at the end of the run. Like you see other softwares have, to display for the customer standing watching the screen from the other room. Maybe i tickbox that activates this when you are doing the power runs when the tune is finished?

A manual brake mode based upon % the brake is activated rather than controlling the current manual brake - engine rpm.

Agree! I am running-in few engines after rebuild, an need to do it using the brake slider in Settings, in order to set the brake I want.
This way works, but I can not monitor RPM nor EGT and lambda.
It will be very nice to have a slider to control the brake. Manual brake is useless, as I can set RPM, but I do not want my engine to run on fixed RPM, rather select how much to load it.
For the record, I am using hydraulically pump as brake.
Please kindly add brake slider like in settings to the Run screen
Thank you
Good news, guys. I am working on a plugin type for brake control. It will give total freedom to control the brake as you want. For example a fixed % brake can be one of the example plugins.
Stay tuned!
PERFECT news. Looking forward to see the new plugin.
Actually, I managed to make manual brake work almost as I want, but with Ki and Kd away of my imagination.
End of the video has the brake settings
Kp - 0.03
Ki - 0.02
Kd - 0.00
Cheers
i love this stuff it just keeps getting better, it will eventually be one of the best Dyno systems out there
I would like to have new window for stady state tuning using CAN informations and brake. Usually its called torque optimisation. It would be great to have feature like mainline dynos have :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jg14wdXg1_g
or
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=35bZTekQGE8
with buttons to reset, rescale, knock indicator, signal filtering force, peak power/torque at certain condition etc.
Its super useful for igntion, afr and cam tuning. I know we have now something similar with main logging menu, but with those extra features it will really speed up process of tuning + it will be much more visible when graph is as big as whole display.
@bartosz-pankow it is there already. You plot torque vs ignition angle in the Run window 🙂
