Hi Jostein,
Could it be possible, e.g. in future software releses, to calibrate the Load Cell differently?
The load cells, as we use for the testing machines, comes from the manufacturer with the calibration certificat with given precise sensivity, e.g. 2.2547mV/V @ Full Scale. In most cases, if the load cell is new (even if not, but has been never overloaded or damaged) the calibration is not needed (the lifespan of the LoadCells from HBM, GTM, Interface or similar is more than decade with 0.5 accuracy class, no relaibration) - just put the sensivity and you are ready to go.
Just like 2 point calibration (if we assume that the load cell output is linear).
@doctor-542 that is a good idea, and should work well. I will put it on the to-do list.
@hansl the plugins are now here: c:\ProgramData\UnaVisionPlugins. Put the CANTool config there. For the PTH200 you need to enter the folder location for the Dracal program. This is normally C:\program files (x86)\DracalView. You should find the file usbtenkiget.exe there.
Not sure what you mean exactly by "Put the CANTool config there" or how to do that. I can find the UnaVisionPlugins folder, but not sure where to find the config file to move into it. Thanks.
@hansl to copy the CANTool settings from the old program, exit YourDyno/Unavision and copy C:\ProgramData\YourDynoPlugins\ControlCAN.dll.json to C:\ProgramData\UnaVisionPlugins

Maybe make it as an option then but keep the current way too. The issue w the above is that the load cell must be perfectly under 90 deg or at least under a known angle and radius and this is not always possible or easy to achieve/measure..
Is the database location editable yet? I can't move to this new version until the database can be on a shared drive.
Thanks!

@Rub87 for sure, as alternative way, not instead. The reason of direct sensitivity input is to make the calibration easier under certain circumstances.
And if the calibration has been done the current way (arm/dead weight) - the sensitivity could be calculated and displayed, you can save the number. If anything happens with the PC or the software - not necessary to calibrate everything again, just put the sensitivity and you are ready to roll)

Thanks. That all worked, with some minor exceptions. The PTH200 Humidity only shows 0.00 on the gauge. It appears to be correct when I look in the options and when doing a run, just not displaying on the run screen correctly. The Canbus is working again now, but it won't auto connect, even with the box checked. I tried restarting several times, but still need to hit the connect button for it to start reading packets.
