Hi guys,

YourDyno version 3.2.163 beta was released today.

Changes:

  • Ability to Zero the loadcell calibration without doing the full calibration
  • Hotkey for Zero load cell calibration so it can be done in the Run window
  • Introduced a Red warning window for the Panic button. You now need to press twice to activate it
  • Panic and Brake lock for loading now automatically turns off after 30 seconds if not turned off manually
  • Faster processing of raw log files

Enjoy!

Hi,

great thank you!

But in the hotkey window it is still not possible to scroll down for the non-English languages. In my case for German.

The same in the run window during braking setup

Greetings Marco

Tuners,

YourDyno version 3.2.167 was released today.

Most important change is a different handling of manual start and stop. Several of you asked for the Manual start to be changed and now it is. Change:

  • Manual start will now keep regulating the start RPM until you manually start the run (by pressing Space or using the mouse). You can also manually start the run before the RPM has reached the start RPM (if for example you have entered a too high "Ramp up brake" number).
  • Auto start works as before, with pre-defined waiting times before the run starts after having reached the Start RPM
  • A separate Auto Stop is added. So you can manually start the run but automatically stop it
  • Auto restart waits until the RPM is back down to Start RPM before activating

In addition, a bug that made YourDyno forget the Run Window location was fixed. You may also notice that there are now the possibility of 8 Aux channels and 8 Thermocouples. This is for the YourDyno Ultimate units.

The auto restore settings per Session is now removed, as this could easily cause confusion. Earlier, each session saved a number of parameters like PID numbers, etc, and these were loaded again upon opening an existing Session. This may sound good, but it is easy to get surprises if you experimented with something on that Session earlier. Now all settings are global, and not restored specifically per Session.

Enjoy! As always, any issues let me know!

Folks,

A bug has snuck into the previous version; the weather station data was not updated all the time. Fixed here.

Hi Jostein,

Unfortunately, this is still not fixed and in the new version the aux inputs and THX thermocouple are not selectable.

It looks like the old version.

Greetings Marco 🙂

Hi folks,

Version 3.3.11 Beta was released today. This version supports YourDyno Standard v4, Standard v5 and YourDyno Ultimate.

There are a number of changes "under the hood" to support all units. In addition:

  • RPM channels can be called something now (like Front/Rear RPM, etc)
  • RPM channels support frequency sensors
  • RPM channels support on/off channels (not yet for v4)
  • Unused channels are removed. For example, if you are not using RPM2, then you will not see it in the list of channels. You will not see RPM2 Acceleration channel either then. Same for Aux'es and load cells.
  • Graph and Gauge select window are now sorted alphabetically so it is easier to find the channels to turn on/off
  • CANTool is improved using handling hexadesimal CAN ID
  • New Session folder browser is improved
  • German translation is updated (not final but usable)
  • AUX handling is changed

NOTE: You should check the Aux and RPM channel setup after upgrading from 3.2.xxx.

Changes are being released relatively quickly now as the extra Standard v5 and Ultimate features are being made ready.

As always, let me know of any issues.

Tuners,

YourDyno version 3.3.14 is available now. Some nice changes 😀!

  • Support for built in CAN bus for YourDyno Ultimate and Standard v5. Super easy to use, check it out! It includes:
    • A CAN Bus analyzer
    • Built in configurations for 22 channel sensor module from AEM, 8 channel thermocouple module and for Holley ECUs
    • Support for CAN Bus configuration files (.dbc files) for your CAN device to be automatically setup
    • A nice feature to convert from a raw CAN value to the actual sensor value using a graph with points (like an Aux channel)
  • Support for Speed based power sweep. Set start speed and end speed and the speed rate instead of RPM. Nice for setups with auto gearbox that does not lock the gear ratio
  • Support for 8 channels on the relay plugin KMTronic. 4 channels are also supported (as before)
  • Fix of auto start for Inertia/No brake setups
  • Barometric pressure (for horsepower correction) can be shown in InHg for the Americans 🙂
  • some improvements to the CANTool can bus plugin (for Standard v4)

For those of you with Ultimate and Standard v5, make sure to update the firmware.

Enjoy! As always, let me know of any problems

Hi folks,

YourDyno Version 3.3.15 is available now.

Changes:

  • For Ultimate and YourDyno Standard v5:
    • Engine RPM pickup (inductive pickup over the PRIMARY of the coil) is now enabled on YourDyno Standard v5 and Ultimate
    • Better handling of weather station (env sensor) connections. Earlier it was possible for the weather station to hang the dyno unit if it stopped working for whatever reason (EMI, disconnected, etc)
  • For all:
    • CANTool plugin bug fix where the gauges would not show the channel value
    • CANTool auto connect feature implemented

Ultimate and Standard v5 users should update the firmware to latest.

Enjoy!
