I have an engine dyno running your Dyno. I recently purchased a chassis dyno. Is it possible to use the same control box on both Dynos without going through all the trouble of recalibrating and setting it up for each individual dynamometer. I know you can save individual calibrations On either the engine dyno or chassis dyno. But is it possible to save an entire engine or chassis Dyno calibration. In other words I want to swap my Your Dyno control box between the two dynamometers and select either the chassis Dyno or the engine dyno and have all the calibrations for each dyno automatically saved.

@das All settings are always saved. When you load settings you can choose all settings or engine/vehicle dependent settings (stuff like brake setup, moment of inertia, gear ratio etc)

@cmadmin I only find a box that says save current settings not save all settings I assume that is the same thing. Thank you

The load cell calibration is part of the settings you read from the Profile (if you select All settings).

That is what I thought it should do. I tried it once and I thought I lost my load cell calibration. I will try it again and see what happens thank you very much.

Hi,

Yes no problem. You use two different profiles, one for the chassis dyno and one for the engine dyno. When you create a session it asks which profile you want to use, so you just select the appropriate one and "Load all settings", then off you go!
