i hooked it up to the vrrpm not sure wire if wires are right i have black to 0v white to signal yellow to shield the vrrpm guage doesnt move either does the engine rpm what am i doing wrong

Folks, the correct connection was: Yellow Shield, Black 0V, White Signal. The colors vary a bit.
