Hi there,

See this page: https://yourdyno.com/YourDynoHelp/brake-rpm-sensors/

Normally 20-30 teeth is good!

Cheers

Have made a wheel with 20 teths but the reading is of...if I put in 30 teths  in the program its more normal reading.

The wheel is Diameter 100 mm 20 teths gap betwen teths 10mm teths hights 5mm  teths with 12mm and 5mm each toth flank. About 1-2 mm distance sensor!

You must use the correct number of teeth in the setup, otherwise power readings will be wrong. If 20 teeth gives the wrong Engine RPM then something else is wrong (gear ratio or number of brake RPM sensors you have configured or something like that).

My mistake,  had wrong input in gear ratio for my waterbrake, should be 1.0 for direct engine to brake connection. This also cured my loadcell reading..jumping up and down!

Thanks
