REQUEST

how about innovatemotorsports mts serial plug in

All there products use this protocol and could be a nice way to plug in an afr meter via serial and would free up ports on the yourdyno box.

Further  more it could acually add more inputs like analog channels but even better more rpm options the lm-2 has 2x rpm inputs (inductive or coil primary) and the ssi-4 also has 2 rpm inputs (coil primary or VR)

Thoughts ???

Would it be possible USB relay control to get a shortcut key for relay control on the keyboard. I have built the cooling fan and exhaust gas removal and Dyno wheelbase adjustment on the card.

With the KMTronic relay unit you can set hotkeys.

REQUEST

True rolling road ramp mode.

It would be cool to simulate actual rolling road conditions.  Possibly taking into account vehicle weight, frontal cross section, and a sane constant for tire/road surface friction.  I'm sure it's much more complicated than this but it would be a great feature.

Name] compatibility with dynojet jetdrive

[HW Requirements]
Dynojet software on PC

[Description]
When ecu tuned with dynojet all ecu data can be shared through what they call jetdrive.  We can then log data like rpm, boost, spark advance, temps, AFR and so on.  I have few offroad vehicles running base tunes from dynojet that I would like to log through yourdyno. Dynojet has shared the library they said it was industry standard.

"This is the JETDRIVE library – this should contain everything someone would need to implement JETDRIVE support in their software. There’s a DOCX file in the repository that describes the standard fully as well."

I attached the DOCX file they sent me to see if someone here knows how to do this.

@abuen thanks for posting, that is quite interesting. We don't have support for Jetdrive today, the closest you get is CAN bus, where the ECU and YourDyno can exchange data both ways. The software is also ready for external brake control (from the ECU software for example), although I have not enabled that option today.

I am interested to hear what needs people have in terms of communication between systems.

Helpful for the powersport side that don't have canbus support and tuned with dynojet.

Plugin Request:

Scantool compatible with speeduino ecu using serial via bluetooth

I tune mostly speeduino based ECUs as that's what I am selling. I am no coder so no idea how its going to work with yourdyno but serial connection via bluetooth works with android apps like realdash and msdroid, so I think it can be done

@choyrowel just connect it to the CAN bus and configure the CAN bus data channels as indicated here: CanBus Support | Speeduino Manual
