What what info you have though to me.
brendan@yourdyno.com

Problem with extended ones is the ELM will only take 8 byte messages back, A extended PID could be returning 62 byte message like the Honda extended PID stuff.

Which will need a OpenPort to handle and there .dll file to interface with.

The info I have is in an original Renault database so not easily readable in an excel for example.

I’ll put some effort into it!

regarding the OP, isn’t that possible to implement either way?

I fully understand.

had a look last night, all 16bit info. Currently have a cracked original Renault program which works fine with the elm. It just doesn’t have trace logging and no possibility to alter the wanted info.

I’ll put some effort in converting the data to an excel and send it over

hiya, to add to your workload what about the Subaru OBD2 support, this is well documented in the open source community where obd2 is used initially and then moved to Subaru Select monitor parameters (proprietary Subaru info and speed) this is pretty easy to get working on loads of the cheaper adapters and would open up a lot of logging on subarus ?

do you have info on this or can I rustle up some links for you on this ?

ELM is found but ECU isnt connecting to ELM.
If it has a HS and LS switch move it to the next position. Otherwise youll need to rewire it internally to move the connection on the ELM to different pins on the OBD2 port.

hello bmgjet and thank you for the answer, indeed the ecu was not connected, with another car it works however there are certain functions which are available in the tab "scan" but when I select the function and I checkmark to have the gauge display while running, the function does not appear in the window for adding gauge. for example: the "short time fuel trim" function that I would like to log is available in the scan tool tab and if I select it it works in the window, the values are correct but by activating the display of gauges, I do not not found in the "select gauges" window. how to do ? in advance thank you for your answer
