Does the system allow for steady state tuning using a chassis dyno with inertia brake?

That's not possible for a pure inertia dyno, but it is not a limitation by YourDyno. Pure inertia dynos by design are not capable of steady state testing.

Some inertia dynos have a brake in addition, and for those dynos YourDyno can indeed test steady state. You can use either a brake curve, or manual control where you click a button on the PC or a "real" button to change RPM up or down.

Does you system do steady state with an absorber ( eddy current) type retarder such as used on Sun dynos? thanks
