Q&A Forum
Hi. I have been happily using yourdyno on my SunRam 12 rolling road untill earlier this week. I had a car on the rollers and all was going well until we had a sort power cut. (All the electricity went off) I restarted my PC but Yourdyno program wont load, It seems to try very briefly then do nothing. All the other programs load normally. I am trying not to uninstall and reinstall the program as I dont want to loosed the settings or past dyno runs.
I'm using windows 10 and am pretty useless with computers.
Any ideas?
Just a thought, I have connected a laptop to the yourdyno box and the rollers work ok so it is a PC issue I have.
I would like to add my skills with a spanner are better than my typing....
Hi, what has happened is that the options file got corrupted in the power cut.
Go to this folder: %localappdata%\Fonneland_Engineering
You will see a folder with name starting with YourDyno.exe. Go into that folder.
Here you will see a folder for each version of YourDyno that you have used. Delete the last one.
YourDyno can now start. It will copy the settings from the previous version, so you may want to check that they copied over correctly.
