Greetings tuners,

A new version of the YourDyno hardware, software and firmware have now been released.

The new electronics board now supports up to 3 aux channels. It also includes support for 2 load cells and includes a programmable output. These will be enabled later in free firmware upgrades. Lately we have also introduced metal enclosures and the load cell and the RPM sensor use a shielded cable for superior electrical noise reduction.

The software update is a major update, with lots of improvements as you will see. It is backwards compatible to all hardware versions. It includes:

- Support for up to 3 Aux channels, completely programmable (need new hardware to use Aux 2 and Aux 3)
- Improved handling of inertia dynos with user defined window for RPM acceleration evaluation
- Support for user defined noise filtering
- Support for compensation for power train losses
- Metric and Imperial unit support
- One click firmware upgrade, no need to open the box and connect another cable
- Various other visual improvements

A new release of firmware is also available, version 1.10. It improves inertia dyno handling. For Brake dynos there is no difference from previous version 1.07. To install the updated firmware and to enable download from within YourDyno, you need to download the bootloader. See our download page for details.

Happy tuning!

Hi Jostein

On Thursday I received the latest "MyDyno" Hardware which included all the latest options. Today, I hooked it up and made some test runs, using my small, water break dyno, designed for testing and tuning Zenoah 2 cycle RC engines. I must say, "I can't be more thrilled" and I am comparing this to a competitors hardware and software that cost 4-5 times as much. It appears that everything with MyDyno system is much simpler to use and is very accurate. I really appreciate your quick response to every question. Your expertise has made this challenging endeavor very pleasureable and rewarding.

Thanks, Bill

P.S. I will post some additional photos and video in the very near future
