Q&A Forum
My norton virus scan will not let me load this version version 3.2.133 Says has a trojan the previous version works.
I have questions but will put them in a different link
@six_shooter, thanks for the bug report, I will fix!
I did a little more playing around and changed the preferred units under options from imperial to metric and now the speed gauge shows kph, instead of MPH, so that matches a little better lol.
So a suggestion on that, those readings should match in unit type, whether the speed gauge defaults to kph, or the "Accelerate to..." follow the preferred units, would help streamline the use of the MOI wizard.
One issue I see on the MOI wizard, is that the wizard says to accelerate to 180 Kph, but the speed gauge shows that it is in MPH. I don't know if this is just a display mismatch in units or if the speed gauge will actually read in MPH, since I don't have my dyno set up yet, either way, having the speed gauge match the required speed will make it less confusing and easier to get right.
Greetings tuners!
YourDyno version 3.2.133 was released today. Changes:
- New MOI wizard for brake dynos. Much easier to use! Let me know your feedback on this. Check out the settings, in particular you may adjust the engine MOI a bit depending on the engine.
- Added Hotkey for the MOI Wizard
- Introduced an Auto save option (saves a .csv file of each run in the Session folder)
- Proper translation for German and French language
- Fixed a bug where it was not possible to cut the beginning and end of a run
- Fixed a bug when data channel names contained "("
- A few other cleanups here and there
Enjoy!
ah, i was looking in the inertia dyno settings menu. Thanbks - I haven't done this for a while 😀
The Pulses per revolution is here:
Run->RPM Setup click the RPM setup tab.
Hi need a bit of help
yesterday I updated to the latest software now my van that usually reads 120hp is doin 24000hp lol not shore what’s different I’ve checked all my settings and they all seem the same
anybhelp appreciated guys
Same here actually, updated and lost all settings, which is just for the most part a minor inconvenience.
Pretty sure i set up the MOI with the weight, however inputting same data now had a 110hp van at 250 😀
tried to find the teeth count per revolution setting also - i couldn't so that could be to blame too. Got to be obvious but where is it in the settings?
I cant cut the grafs after latest software uppdate… when i press the ctrl key the sissor apear as usual but it dosent cut just straightens the part i want to remove.
I have reinstalled the program but the Issue still remains. Am i the only inte having this problem or is it a bug in the latest software?
@phil177 have you recently saved your options and can restore them from a file?
I did the update and my brake config changed from a 0-5v controlled analog output to the PWM controlled option.
It might be worth looking at this?
Ben.
Hi,
There are only 3 possibilities:
Moment of inertia, Pulses per revolution (RPM setup) and load cell calibration.

Tuners,
YourDyno version 3.2.129 is released today. It contains a few small bug fixes:
- Fixed a bug in Auto start/stop for Inertia dynos
- Fixed a bug where the correction factor would show 0.0 in the Run window before a run was started. The bug was just cosmetic, the correction factor was correctly applied
- Fixed a bug when saving/reading back a csv file after the graph had been cropped in the Results vs Time window
- Added a setting "rawLogIsBeingImported", which can be used by plugins to disable for example turning on/off switches etc based on channel values when importing a log
Enjoy!
Problem was from setting the splash screen to 3 sec.
Setting it back to 5 sec fixed the problem
