Q&A Forum
Hi!
Have an issue with YurDyno Standard v5.
PC is the ASUS NUC, YourDyno conected to the rear USB port within supplied cable.
After PC rebooting the software doesn't see YourDyno hardware and the message pops "Disconnect and Connect YourDyno". It helps, but it is not very convinient.
How to avoid and fix it?
Thank you!
Hello,
Yes, it is normal. You need to disconnect and connect the YourDyno box after rebooting the PC. It will be fixed in the firmware, it just has not been prioritized yet since the workaround is so quick. But you are right, it needs to be sorted.
I currently am running a powered usb hub with switched on the ports, rather than unplug and plug I am cycling power on the port.

Hi Jostein,
Any news on the new firmware?
@doctor-542 I made an attempt on fixing the issue, but it seems to be caused by some library from the chip vendor. I need to contact them for a fix. In the meantime just disconnect and connect.
