Wheel Slip, PID, RPM sensor or strapping techniques

If the rollers are linked then it is less of a problem that it climbs over on one roller. But if not then you are going to get a wrong result because of the moment of inertia, when one roller does not accelerate anymore.

You can plot RPM vs Time with graph filtering set to 0 to see if the RPM is ok.
