I am using a Nema 23 Stepper motor.  It borderline has enough torque.  I also have a 17 with a gear reduction unit on it but I was worried about the speed of the valve at that point.  

I just got my rpm sensor working and need to finish up my muffler setup to actually make some power runs and see how the load control works.

Cheers, I'll order the same stepper motor and let you know how mine runs will hopefully have everything i need in the next couple of weeks.

I didn't have a pressure relief valve in my setup.  I should have that and all of the fittings to plumb it by early next week.  Then I will be ready to make a few power pulls and see how it reacts with my water control valve.
