hi guys, well after using yourdyno on my dynodynamics chassis dyno with good success. i would like to use yourdyno again. got some questions on using yourdyno on my 901 superflow engine dyno with water brake. can i use my fuel flow transducers and my land & sea air turbine hats with yourdyno and if so how would i calibrate them. i have a old MS DOS Stahl headers program at the moment and i want to upgrade without spending a fortune. thanks

Hi, Can you give some details on the fuel flow transducers and air turbine hats?

YourDyno works very well on water brakes 🙂

Sensors with signals based on frequency (like the fuel flow one) is not currently supported. However, this is possible to do with the VM167 board if someone makes a small change to the plugin. The VM167 board has a pulse counter. It is planned to be supported also though the extra digital input/outputs on the YourDyno box, but it is not currently being worked on.

For the valve you do not need that position feedback. Just use a stepper motor with built in position feedback, or select a stepper that is large enough so it does not skip pulses.

Yes, you can run 8 EGTs. You need to buy a USB CAN adapter, for example this one: https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/usb-to-dual-channel-can-bus_1892587602.html and then you can connect to the ECU Masters 8 channel thermocouple CAN module. With the YourDyno CANTool plugin it can be read directly in YourDyno.

Hi Boz , Perth boy ?  Great to see another aussie on the forum Just get yourself one of these

Individual Cylinder Air/Fuel Ratio Tuning on Engines up to 12 Cylinders

https://www.innovatemotorsports.com/products/st12.php

Ideal for a engine dyno room logging information  and a VM167 board like the admin suggested.
