Before wiring in the switches I am going to try to move the laptop over near the dyno and connect directly to the USB cables and see if that makes a difference.  If anything I could run an HDMI cable to my display on the desk and use a wireless keyboard and mouse to run the laptop.  Thanks again for all of the help!!

Went out to the shop and did some testing.  If I connect the USB cables directly to my laptop and keep them away from any type of 12 volt power wire it seems to work fine.

As soon as I plug them into the USB extender I get one maybe two relay activations and then loses signal.  This is the USB extender I am using8 - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VN3FBW3?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

My next question is will LED and fluorescent lights on the ceiling next to the CAT 6 cable mess with the signal? 

Or do I use two USB extenders to the laptop? 

I would really like to get this to work as I think it will be an awesome feature.
