Hi there.

Basically we are just in the process of setting up our eddy current dyno. We are using a JDM power module, being controlled by the analog 0-5v signal that the yourdyno box produces. We have moved the jumpers over to the correct position already. In the basic setup options where you can test to 0-5v signal, the brake works perfectly. As soon as we enter into a run, and ask the brake to come on at a particular rpm, nothing happens. Pulling my hair out! Please watch the video here to see what I mean:

https://youtu.be/z4ZXx44vaSw

In the video I had told the yourdyno to hold the rpm at 1500rpm.

Thank you in advance for any advice.

Steve

Hi all.

Spoke to Jostein today and he kindly logged in via Remote Desktop and quickly had it all up and running. It was in the brake control loop settings (I will confirm that). The hz was set to 1hz (from factory). Jostein changed that to 20hz and everything worked perfectly. Thanks!

Hi, Brake update rate is default 10Hz, so you probably changed it to 1Hz inadvertently. Anyway, good to have you up and running!
