Hey!

So, just installed my yourdyno kit. Everything works like a charm, except my torque figure is jumping between some negative number and aprox 10nm. Even if nothing is on the dyno.

Is this normal? Or could it be a badly shielded cable from the loadcell?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

It is normal if you have not calibrated yet! But after calibration it should hover around 0 with very small changes.

Also make sure you have turned on only 1 load cell in Options if that is what you have and check the RPM settings. If RPM2 must be set to "Not used" or "Engine RPM" if you only use 1 load cell.

Cheers!

You can also watch the raw reading in the calibration window. The raw value will normally vary about +/-10 or thereabouts with the engine off. This is on a raw scale from -32000 to +32000 so it will translate into very little noise.
