[Solved] Thermocouple wired to aux input amperage requirement

Hi,

You can connect one thermocouple directly to the Thermocouple input on the YourDyno box. If you want more than 1 thermocouple then you need an amplifier and can connect it to an AUX input. If you want a lot of thermocouples, then you can use the CAN Bus plugin and use one of these for example: 8 Channel K-Type EGT CAN Module | AEM (aemelectronics.com)

Yes, that is what I had suspected....I believe I will need a separate power source.  I speculate the amperage requirements  are minimal?  Perhaps 500ma.?

Much less than 500mA. Just power it from one of the load cell inputs.
