Q&A Forum
Hello friends.
Are anybody install telma axial retarder on the dyno? I hope yes.
On the ends of telma are KV - XS flange like connection for driveshaft of the truck.
How can I convert these flages for longer shaft, preparing for pillow block bearing and next shaft connection.
On the Telma.com they write about test benches, but nothing about it how to do it.
I´m looking for your help.
Hi,
Assuming you are talking about the same retarder I am using, This is how I have mine set up. I drew and turned up some spindles that bolt onto the flanges that accept some pillow block bearings. I hope these pictures are helpful and PM me if you want the drawings.

Hello ,
I'm trying ot build my first dyno. I have the same retarder , and have also purchased a SportDevices Brake power Supply PWS3.2
We have put the the 6 coils 12V in series to have 72V and 14,15 amp.
Today we have tested and the retarder seems not to work. I was not present and will check if we have something wrong wired, but it's ok to put the power supply to 70Volts and limit to 14 amps ?
thank you in advance for your support
I'm looking to do this also, but with a CC135 retarder, if anyone has any suggestions.
Thanks
bo
Did someone manage to use that kind of telma retarder?
