Hi,

I have a superflow cycldyn with eddy current brake that I would like to retrofit with a Yourdyno system.

What I would like to know is would my existing power supply, for the brake, be compatible with Yourdyno?

Thanks

Mark

Hi,

Yes, if it is a separate unit from the main electronics, and is controlled with an anaalog or PWM signal. Send a pic and I can advice further.

Thanks for the reply. I need to work out how to upload a photo, the only way I can see at the moment is to post a link which means I need to host it somewhere on the Web?

Hi, that will not be possible. The controller for the power supply sits on the "Integrated frame assembly" and not in the "Eddy current controller". Therefore a lot of control signals are passed back and forth between the two boards, and it is not as simple as an analog or PWM control signal. You need to replace the power supply.

Cheers
