Hi and first why, please change this option

i use few yourdyno sets to tractor dynos, and we use engine power correction because different tractors have different gearboxes and we connect dyno to pto shaft at the end of gearbox 🙂

now you add some option that if we use engine power correction , your dyno stops log at the half of measure proces, we want to have data and measurement chart from full run, (exampe from 2300rpm down to 800rpm) , with -50rpm/s.

Now newest wersion stops somere in the middle, why ?

why we need to chose between enngine correction or auto stop ??

sorry in this case newest software wersions and youdyno are unless fo us, please find some idea for tractor dynos

2. please add in the future MOI calculation witout SPEED, tractror stops at run , only shaft and eddy is moving and we want to calculate some gearbox loses

Hi,

Can you post the csv file of the run? Or send to me by mail to jostein@yourdyno.com. Note that you in any case can choose auto or manual start/stop of data recording.

I don't understand your point 2. Do you mean the MOI Measurement Wizard? It is made for chassis dynos where you ramp up the roller speed by the engine and let it coast down. It cannot work on a PTO.

Hi again,

I tested what I believe is your setup. Power sweep, start RPM 2300, end RPM 800, 50RPM sweep rate. It logged always down to 800, I tried fast and slow.

If you want I can log in remotely and take a look next time you do a run.

Cheers

@artibig have you turned on the option "Enable correction for rolling resistance vs speed from measured retardation data"? Turn that option off. It only works when you can coast down after a sweep up from low to high RPM. Since you ramp down, you cannot measure the coast down losses.
