Can someone post some sample dyno run files so I can play with the software using 'real' data? Thank you.

Thank you.

I see you're in NZ - I am in Australia. I am still exploring all options for my newly acquired second-hand dyno, but if you could drop me a line at julianedgar1@gmail.com letting me know how you find the software/hardware, that would be great.  (I've been reading your posts.)

No, I now only write books

The dyno is of unknown brand but has 843mm rollers and a Telma CC80 retarder.

Looks like a sun road_a_matic chassis dyno but they had like 24inch diameter rollers so leaning more towards  a early dyno dynamics chassis dyno. BUT i might be wrong on both guesses.

What other systems have looked at ?

Anyhow welcome to the forum.

I've looked at D-Tec (but they no longer sell the braked dyno package) - the dyno was demonstrated to me before I bought it using that package, but it didn't come with the dyno. I've also looked at Sport Devices and Performance Trends.

Oh yes, and it doesn't have 843mm rollers (as seller said - he must have meant circumference?.) By my measurements they're 273mm (10.75 inches) in diameter. So if that tells anyone what brand of dyno it might be, I am interested.

Did you look into Andrew Elder's software and hardware for engine/chassis dynamometer conversions/upgrades? Possibly the best control system in the world.

Yes I've know Andrew for about 20 years. But I didn't want to insult him by asking about ~AUD$1000 system for home use!
