What is the rpm sweep for? Is the dyno supposed to run the car at the set rpm? Do you have to do a rpm sweet for every car you want to run?
An rpm sweep is when you run the engine through its rpm range at full throttle. This is done to produce the power graph where you see power vs rpm.
You can do it mist easily with the Power sweep option.
You set start and stop RPM in the Power Sweep in a second or two :-)! But if you want you can keep one power sweep setup for several cars. Just set the end RPM to be higher than the redline of the car with the highest RPM limit.
@admin so do I need to make a graph for every car?
Hi Harrison and welcome to the forum , what are you testing/diagnosing/power_graph for the vehicle on the chassis_dyno ? Will depend whether you go WOT and do a full RPM sweep?
