Hello!

A friend of mine has a fully functional SF-800 water brake dyno and he wants to modernize it.

Has anyone done this and can share experiences?

Have been searching around a bit and it seems to work using a Nema23 stepper motor, 3nm with suitable driver, connected to the old valve.

Can the old RPM signal and load cell be used?

Hi you will need to replace the rpm sensor, the load cell can usually be used with no issues providing its in good working order
