Q&A Forum
Hello I will be purchasing this kit to run a hub dyno build very soon and think what you have done so far is unbelievable so thank you.
Just would like to know if it will be possible to match the power and torque graph scale so the cross over point looks correct.
Also does anyone have any dyno run csv files on boosted cars that I could get to see in software just like the demo file ?
Hi,
HP uses the left Y-axis and Torque uses the right Y-axis and they are auto scaled, so the curves will not cross at the same point as they would if they are using the same scale.
I have had a few questions about this, and I might change them so they both use the left axis if this is more intuitive for people.
That said, if you save the file, you get a .csv file which can be opened directly in Excel and you can do whatever with the data :-).
Cheers,
Jostein
i would love to be able to have this feature also where the end user " Myself" has the ability to switch either way, so BHp and torque are both scaled on the same Y-axis
Horsepower and Torque always crossover at 5252 RPM if they are scaled on the same Y-axis scale numbers and in imperial units. I myself prefer this style of graph display purely the way it looks BUT is there any significant scientific advantages to it ? IMO no! Just looks
Is it possible to plot on the same BHp/Torque graph Air/Fuel ratio on the left hand side Y-axis ? If not maybe on the "DO LIST! "
Error .made the last paragraph should of read " is it possible to plot on the same BHp/Torque graph Air/Fuel ratio on the RIGHT hand side Y-axis ? If not maybe on the "DO LIST! "".
Good idea with the lambda and hp/torque together, that will be useful. I will check what needs to be done to make a generic solution where people can select where the different graphs go. It is a bit of work to make this, so it will not be very soon, as I am working on a number of other changes at the moment.
