I really like what you have done with YourDyno!
I am on my way for purchasing your dyno software/hardware package, but before that, i want to carry out the construction of the dyno.
My goal is 700+hp capable 2wd chassis dyno, at first it will be an inertia dyno, but later down the road i want to add a eddys current brake(telma)
I want to build a dyno of this type
and im starting from scratch, my idea is to build the rollers from thick steel pipe, but im debating on what size pipe should i use, can you reccomend me, my worry is that the roller will be pretty lightweight, but as far as I understant for inertia there can be added some type of a flywheel, and remove it when I install the brake because the brake dyno doesn`t need heavy rollers, correct me if I`m wrong. Also i can calculate the MOI, for one of the rollers, should i multiply it by 4, to get the final number, because i will have 4 rollers total, based on what i reed in the topics i can calibrate it by dynoing a car that i have previously dynoed on another dyno, and change the MOI, until i get the same results.

For 700hp I would go straight to an eddy braked dyno. Either a roller or a hub type. Hub types are not that hard to construct.
If not, 700hp means very heavy rollers if you go for inertia. Yes you can multiply by 4 if you have 4 rollers. You need to find the RPM of the rollers to calculate what run time you would get for a specific MOI.
Make sure to have someone check that the design is safe in terms of being able to take the RPM, both rollers and if you use a flywheel.
