good morning
I am interested in purchasing a complete kit for my self-built test bench
I used a Telma CC 160 eddy current brake.
Does your kit also include a power supply for the brake?

Hi there,

Nice brake, I have one too :-). YourDyno now sells power supplies as well, it will start shipping in early Sept. It is available for pre-order in the web shop, more info coming very soon, it is awesome!

Other options on power supply if you need one asap is from JDM Dyno, see https://yourdyno.com/YourDynoHelp/eddy-current-brake-control/

Hi, you can call me tomorrow at WhatsApp, +47 4840 1279. Send a message first in case I am busy.

Need to do a bit of calculations for the HP. The brake can do 1600Nm cold, and less when warm. Since you have large rollers, they probably have quite a lot of inertia, so this means you will be able to do more HP in an RPM sweep than in steady state. Large rollers are nice for inertia, but it also means lower RPM, so you probably will not reach the max HP capacity of the brake due to RPM. Lots of parameters to consider!
