Only the 50-0016.pdf can be used. The other one has a 20mV sinus signal, which would not be any good. 

1-2 months should be possible for native support, but you could just use a frequency to voltage converter while waiting.

Have you any update on fuel flow? Just got our Dyno finally working well and would like to add fuel flow to calculate BSFC.
