Q&A Forum
Hello,
Is there a switch somewhere to do away with the ECU Master channels popping up in the gauge selection menu and in the stored csv's? I have not defined or activated them in the CAN Tab so I wonder a bit why they keep being there. 🙃
@rub87 the channels will pop up if you open an old csv file with those channels defined. They go away again when you restart the program.
Hi folks,
YourDyno version 3.3.95 (beta) was released today.
Changes:
- Better auto-stop for ramp up sweeps
- Better handling of changing name of a data channel. Earlier, after a data channel name change you could for example get 2 gauges for the same channel until YourDyno was restarted. It could also increase the CPU load until the next program restart
- Fixed bug when loading a raw log file (auto-stop would not work properly)
- Improved handling of Auto zero (for water brakes) when the valve is not connected or powered off, or when the Auto zero is not configured correctly. Earlier, if the auto zero failed and you cancelled the action, the gauges would all be placed in upper left corner and the gauge layout would be lost
- Improved CPU load somewhat
- All features of the UltimateV2 are now fully supported
- Added dbc files (CAN bus configuration files) for Holley Sniper V2 and HP Dominator and Terminator X
Enjoy!
This is probably the last update before a large, exciting release, so stay tuned!
Any issues, let me know.
Thank you Jostein for your hard work and dedication. I'm very excited for the release! 🙂
Hello,
i have a Problem. I want to switch on and off my Fan in the Front of the Dyno.
At the Plugin "Relay Control" i give the Port 1 a Hotkey and saved this.
This all works perfekt, when the Side is open. Then i can switch on and off over my remote Controll.
But when i close the Side were you can switch these Settings, then it does not work any more.
Software ist 3.3.85, i tried also the new 3.3.95, same Issue.
By the way: At 3.3.95 when the Language is set to German, at "Settings" the Point "Engine Power Correction" will not be shown.
Greetings Markus form Germany, Dynokraft A200 4WD
I have issue with latest sw versions. We use eddy current brake system, and test from aproxx 2300rpm -> 1200rpm (engine). When reaching end of dynorun (1200 rpm) yourdyno just locks up this rpm and keeps loading engine until i leave the dyno run window.
This has just started on latests sw versions. all other version would automatically turn off eddy current brake automatically when reaching end rpm.
The brake regulator continues to operate even after the run is complete. This is to avoid sudden acceleration when the end RPM is reached, if the brake is immediately turned off. When you go off the throttle, the brake % will reduce, since Engine RPM drops, but in your case, not fast enough.
You can control the brake behavior after the run is complete using the "Slow down rotation when run is complete" functionality.
If you set Slow down to 25% until 1500 RPM for example, then it will hold minimum 25% until 1500 RPM, after which it turns off the brake.
@maxximumboost, I recommend using the KmTronic usb relays, they have much better support in YourDyno.
Hello,
so the Internal Dynokraft Relais i can not use???
Is this not only a Bug? Because when the switching Window is on, then it works perfektly.
Only when i minimise this window, then it dont work.
