Thanks for that up and running again.

I have sent you the config file

I will just leave it on for the mean while.

Oh by the way I notice the logged runs times no longer match the time set on the PC

rot62,
In Print Setup you had set the Print header height to 0 which the program did not handle. I will add a check for that in the code in the next version.

To get going now with your previous user.config (which includes all your settings), search for printHeaderHeight in the user.config and set it to something else than 0 (10 for example).

I've got 2 dyno setups one has a 9" torque arm the other has a 12" torque arm since the update I cant change the torque arm length its stuck on 9" if you change it and save calibration and close the window and open it again its back on 9"

Rot62, it matches in time if the RPM is running. If idle the dyno still logs data but the timestamps are not exact.

stvdrag225, strange, I cannot reproduce what you describe. You only have 1 load cell, right?

I wonder if it is a file access problem. Can you check the %localappdata%\Fonneland_Engineering\yourdyno.exe<some random number>\3.2.37\user.config file? Try deleting or renaming the file and start YourDyno again, see if it solves it. Alternatively edit the torqueArmLength directly there, let me know.

How do I do a firmware update?

I click the 'online update' button, it says 'starting update' and then stays there all day

internet connectivity is good

keep having to ask for update files

hmm doesn't seem to work for me, it does say it's starting the upgrade but then nothing ever happens

will try manually disconnecting usb see if that unfreezes it, i managed to get it to do it once with much arsing about but cant remember what i did, most times i have to ask Jostein for an update file, which they always willingly provide but its not good if youre in a rush!

Okay that did the trick, press update, unplug the device, plug the device back in - as soon as yourdyno re-recognises it the update starts

it does the upgrade then pops up a message asking you to confirm if you want to update afterwards, so it's a bit backwards a but does work

if you dont disconnect the usb cable manually and re-insert it, nothing happens. thanks for the hint with the usb disconnection ping it wasn't what you intended I don't think but it was the hint i needed 🙂
