Hi,

The "YourDyno not responding correctly" message happens if you do not have the latest firmware installed. You need 1.18. You may need to disconnect and connect after you upgrade the firmware.

already updated firmware. it works fine on 1 pc (laptop) and doesnt work on two others (desktops) one with windows 7 and the other with windows 10

Tuners,

Version 3.2.33 was released now with a few bug fixes. Changes:

  • Graph selection on/off did not work correctly
  • When hitting the button to bring up the graph selection window (default 'v') while changing comments, the graph selection window came up instead of the letter 'v' in the comment

xtcund,

I understand you receive data normally and you can control the brake on all 3 PCs? 

The message is a check that the communication between the PC and the YourDyno box is good. Are the two PCs where it is not working old/slow? Let me know. It could be the YourDyno software is not waiting long enough for the reply, maybe I need to adjust the timeout.

I think you are right, it night be the time out, as the pc that I have working good is a top of the range 8 core system. I had the Dyno Woking flawlessly in an windows operating iMac core2duo. It was always very good and practical. Had it for two years without any problem. No updates have been done apart for the yourdyno software so I guess the problem can only come from the software. When are you able to change that timeout time for me to test? I have a lot of urgency because I use my dyno the whole day and now it is running on my tuning desktop and I can't be using it like this... Thanks

Hi, i am getting really anoyed by the software. im am sorry, i really love it but i am already working like this for one week and it has cost me a lot of money. I was able to install an older version that works (3.2.1) but now, i can print! i get message that i have no printer installed. 

Jostein, i admire you and you have been extraordinary in what you have accomplished and the help you give, but i haven't have any support on this since the update. I really need this software to work without having to format, change or loosing hours and hours trying to find a solution for each and every other problem. I am really really angrey now. i have sent costumers away over and over again because i have no dyno working...

 

Please help

Check Printer setup. Also, try another thing, when you go to File --> Print , choice Microsoft print to PDF, Ok, try to print , it Will make a PDF file with dyno sheet, open PDF when try to print it. try it and let us know.

YourDyno uses Windows to print so you should see the same printers as you see in other applications. Are you seeing printers in other apps but not in YourDyno? 

The idea from Walter is good.

Btw, if you want an older version, use 3.01.83. Previous versions are available, just replace the version in the link.

Does the printer show in device manager since thats where YourDyno is getting printer info from.
Does any other program print? notepad?
