Hi,

Can someone please help me out?

I am currently sourcing a proportional pressure control valve to regulate my hydraulic dyno brake pressure (back pressure against a gear pump). From the specification of the yourdyno controller module, it states:

2 Brake control outputs, each supporting either Pulse width modulation (PWM) and analog  (0-5V) signals. 1 output supporting Stepper motor”.

I have attached the specification sheet for the valve driver I propose to use.

In order to use the yourdyno software to control it, I assume I can use either of the yourdyno outputs (PWM or 0-5v) and take a 12vDC power supply from my own power supply?

I was planning to install a separate valve driver amplifier card and potentiometer to control it, but I'd prefer to do it direct from the your dyno control system.

Any one able to advise on this?

cheers!!

DE

Hi,

That's a nice valve controller! You can connect it directly to YourDyno by configuring an analog output from YourDyno.
