Hi there! sent you an email , anyway decided to register for ask some questions, Im building a hub Dyno and see your hardware and software and looks pretty good and simple, i was wondering how good would works on a Hub Dyno, what about sync for both brakes, im looking for brake power supply, what do you recommend and how wiring with your hardware?, the brakes Im using are Telma C8770 so these are big brakes. Thanks!

Thanks for asking your questions here, it helps others with the same questions.
Dual hub dynos are supported. You need two RPM sensors, two load cells and two brake outputs. The brakes are individually controlled, and follow the brake curve you setup.
The brake power supplies will be controlled by two PWM signals. You can also convert these PWM signals to analog signal if you need to.
Many people re-wire the Telmas to 192V. I don't know which power supply you should choose, just make sure to choose one with a PWM or analog control input.

I'm building a 2wd hub dyno too. I got two old eddy current brakes, but they arent exactly same size (other brakes 2000nm and other about 2300nm). Will this be a problem or can software correct the braking force to same for both axles?

YourDyno supports two independent brakes. You need two RPM inputs (one on each hub) and two brake outputs. That shall work fine!

Hi Jostein , that youtube link is just a example for forum members and Mr Pietro Cuozzo and NO that isn't my build or HubDyno just purely for example purposes as it is very visual what can be done with a eddy current retarder brake.
I know it is thinking ahead and now there are vast amount of constant four (4) Wheel Drive vehicles , does your hardware and software allow for say all four wheel drive Hub Dyno application ? and also have you thought about how some vehicles split the power delivery from front to rear wheels run say electric motors 30Hp (or higher & Lower Hp)@3500RPM piggybacking the front wheel hub dyno to synchronise the speed from the front and rear eddy current retarder brake Hub dynos , Im pritty sure the would be a market for the 4WD community for this kind of test apparatus rig.

In principle it should be relatively straight forward to support a dyno with 4 independent brakes. The current hardware does not support more than 2 RPM inputs and 2 load cell inputs, but I may add the hardware support on the next hardware revision, then it is ready for a software upgrade later. I receive a lot of good ideas from you guys, thanks! I have a few to work through before prioritizing the 4 wheel hub dyno, unless I get more interest from other users.
2 rollers for 4WD is supported today though!
