Good day! I'm a complete newbie here and am upgrading a DynoJet 150 to YourDyno. Inertia only.

I'm wanting to have 4 EGTs so need an extension via the CAN bus. I'm looking at the ECU Master EGT to CAN module and have a few questions . As well planning on the 14Point7 Spartan 3 Lamda module, a Oil Temp and pressure sensors to the normal 0-5v inputs.

So the EGT to CAN will be connected direct to the CANH and CANL on the YourDYno box...so then this is the only CAN modul I can use correct? So then only 3 more sensors can be used on the 0-5v inputs as well as the RPM for the drum sensor of course.

Is there any way to use the the other 4 EGT sensor inputs as I will usually just have 4 used as max(not often I have a 6 cyl bike on there) ....for example I thought I could use a open tip EGT sensor as a temp sensor as I don't need super fast response rate on those usually....but I assume it's not possible to use the inputs for non K type temp sensors...

I'm really only tuning vintage carburated road race bikes (250-1000cc) so HP/TQ vs RPM and AFR, exh temp are most important, but nice to watch engine temp as reference and sensitive pressure sensor that I could use to play with crankcase pressure/vacuum or air filter restriction info

Yes, the EGT to CAN from ECU Master works well. It connects to YourDyno CANL and CANH and needs a separate 12V power supply. You can add more CAN modules, just one after the other. At some point you will run out of CAN bus bandwidth, but this is not a limitation in practice.
