Q&A Forum
Hello to all, I have experienced a connection issue with my blue box while setting up for a new tune. Powered everything up as normal and noticed the not connected display in the data area of the screen. I have tried 3 different cables and a different computor but no success. Can anyone suggest what could be the issue. Thanks
David
Hello,
From my experiences with USB, in case of EMI problems, you could have 3 situation:
- Connection is lost, you quit the application, restart and everything is ok.
- Connection is lost, you should disconnect the peripheral, restart the software, and everything is ok
- Connection is lost, you try the 2 solutions above, but nothing work. You should restart your PC.
You can try various cables, which could help. Isolators could help too.
But there is no miraculous tool.

I have problems with losing connection on my engine dyno when I run the starter for too long, sometimes it does it sometimes it doesn't. A new issue I found last night now that I upgraded to a USB relay board is that the relay board loses connection as soon as the starter stops and then I have to restart the program to get everything to connect again.
If anyone has anything that would help it would be much appreciated.
