Hello

I've been assembling the Roller (460mm Dia, 160HP). I was planning to machine around 180 grooves 3mm wide, 1.5 deep and a 6mm pitch, a mate suggested a 12mm space between each 3mm groove. Any suggestions as to what is a good ratio of grooves and spaces for grip with out shredding the Tyre ?

My machine shop has knurled it. Grip is good and rubber abrasion is normal.

@marco what kind of price range is it for a machine shop to do something like this? I have met my match with traction issues as well I believe.

@bigpermgarage

Sorry, no idea. They made the knurling included when I ordered the roll.

Greetings Marco
