Q&A Forum
Hello to all the guys here.i havent receive my new electronics pack yet i have already order the kmtronic relay board to do functions like fans exaust extraction and ramps up-down without moving out of the car i would like to know if there is a way to do hotkeys for relays.i have search software and cant find something. Thanks for your help.
Hi,
Hotkeys are not supported for the KMTronic yet. You can set it to trigger based on data channels though.
Hotkey support for the KMTronic has been on the plans for a while, it needs to be supported, I agree!
Cheers
@admin i am happy that i noticed something that need to be done already even if i havent receive my equipment yet.i will say that of course i can turn on-off the fans and the extraction system with variables such rpm but ramps absolutely needs a hotkey to activate.waiting for the updates 😉
Hi,
I have implemented hotkeys for plugins now, among them the KMTronic. Will be available on the next release!
@admin thats great waiting for the new release till then hope to have got my kit.
Thank you for adding these functions.
We have the "USB Relay beta 1.0" Plugin running with the 8 relay board.
Would it be possible to add the hot-key function to this relay plugin also?
Or should we just buy the KMTronic relay board instead?
Hi,
For sure I would buy the KMTronic relay board. This is a much better solution than the USB relay board, and very reasonably priced.
Thank you for the fast reply.
I ordered the KMTronic USB relay board and received it very fast.
The costs where higher (€59 including shipping) as the other USB relay board (€18 including shipping).
We tried to add the Plugin, but was not succesfull.
So we removed the Yourdyno software and re-installed with the KMTronic Plugin selected, that worked great.
We can now use our wireless keyboard for switching the fans 😀
hello all, i have a kmtronic too and work great on the new software.
But before to use it , i need to have one relay in 12v and an other in 220v. I don't find where can i configure the differents voltage of the output ?
thanks
Hi, no problem to mix and match. The relays are separate, and each relay can either close or open the two connections.
