A few months ago my mates and I built an Inertia Dyno using Dynomec software and their 55505 pickup via the LPT port and dynomec bespoke cabling.

It works great and is such a useful thing but all we have is HP and torque and unless we chuck 1000 euros for they software upgrade and data acquisition box (8 analogue, 8 digital channels) we dont have air /fuel and the rest of the gizmos.

Here is a run on our setup

Wondering how much it would cost to upgrade to a digital acquisition box with your software

Hi!

Congrats on your home made dyno! Would you like to post some pics and info on the forum?

All you need for the upgrade is the YourDyno kit for $500. Add environmental sensors for env compensation if you like for $50 more. You should be able to use your existing hall effect sensor.

You need to order sensors (lambda, temperature, whatever you want) separately.

Cheers!
Jostein

We were also using the Dynomec system for some time but very basic and was not very repeatable to be honest. Just ordered the Yourdyno DAQ system and will be installing it soon. Your hall effect sensor will work with the Yourdyno system as well. Uses the same Honeywell 1gt101dc sensor.
