Anyone have a template for manufacturing a trigger wheel for an inertia dyno.  Shaft speed Max 2000RPM. What dimensions would be best including number of teeth?

Hi,

Yes, check this: https://yourdyno.com/YourDynoHelp/brake-rpm-sensors/

There is a link there to this place where you can specify and order your trigger wheel cheap.

For max 2000 RPM I would go for say 40 teeth or so. You should look at the lowest RPM of interest, which may be 500 or something like that. If you choose 300 RPM minimum, that is 5 revs per second. So 40 * 5 = 200 which is the minimum number of pulses per second for accurate readings. No problem go higher number of teeth if you prefer.
