I am guessing that all I need to do is install a thermocouple  amplifier. I have ordered the one pictured below.  My question is what do I need to get for a power source?  Is it safe to assume that the amperage required is minimal, say 500MV or less?   Thanks for your input,  Chip

Hi,

You can connect one thermocouple directly to the Thermocouple input on the YourDyno box. If you want more than 1 thermocouple then you need an amplifier and can connect it to an AUX input. If you want a lot of thermocouples, then you can use the CAN Bus plugin and use one of these for example: 8 Channel K-Type EGT CAN Module | AEM (aemelectronics.com)

Yes, that is what I had suspected....I believe I will need a separate power source.  I speculate the amperage requirements  are minimal?  Perhaps 500ma.?

Much less than 500mA. Just power it from one of the load cell inputs.
