In the Yourdyno you can manually control the load valve with hotkeys right now mine are the +/- to  open and close the valve manually. Not that it's confusing to operate that way. after dynoing engines for the past 20 years with a load valve that turns it would just be more natural with a knob.I could build a stand alone manual system to control the valve no problem. I like having the load valve % displayed  on the yourdyno screen.I did build a hotkey interface pendant with up and down buttons to control the load valve. does basically the same thing as the +/- keys on the keyboard other than you can hold it in your hand. Seems to be a little mote convent  than the keyboard. Still would like a knob. Any Ideas?

Thanks DAS

I would think a USB rotary knob. will have to check to make sure it can be assigned like a key? there are a number of different types on Amazon. This is what I was going to look into.

This controller from Amazon is under $35.00 and works fine

I was looking at a macro keypad. Did not think of a volume control. You can set the volume keys to + or- load valve operation. If I am lucky maybe it will see the  rotation of the knob as setting a hotkey.  hopefully it will work with the USB knob. Ordered one will find out on tuesday

Thanks DAS

Hi Kevin

The volume control works great. It also has a mute function. I set that to  switch to manual mode. One click = 1% load valve opening takes a lot of clicks to get to 100%  Anything in the yourdyno  or computer settings to speed that up. 1 click to = 2 or 3%

Thanks DAS
