Jo, time ago you spoke about  bug in sweep brake. Which was this bug? Have you fixed this bug?

Hi, there was someone who told me about a problem with the brake sweep, but I really tried to reproduce it unsuccessfully. So brake sweep works in my setup, let me know if you have problems with it.

Brake sweep also works well in my setup, for this reason I didn't understand where the bug was.

Greetings tuners!

Software version 3.01.83 was released today.

Changes:

  • Much better noise reduction system. See this video for demonstration
  • Support for hotkeys and wireless devices, see this video for demonstration
  • Improved PID control: This improvement is for the D part of PID. D stands for Derivative, and is a parameter to dampen oscillations. Most Eddy brake setups will still work best with Pd = 0, but if cannot fix your oscillation issues by lowering the Kp and Ki you can try adding some Pd. Water brakes can work well with Kd.
  • Added a "Coast now!" feature. This can be useful when doing a sweep and logging data while retarding after the run to calculate the drive train losses. If you need precise control of when the brake turns off (i.e. exactly when you press the clutch), just press the "Coast now" button. It turns off the brake but continues to log data. This is optional to use, if your setup works well in auto mode, just continue with that
  • Improved the speed of opening the Run window. No longer will the gauges flicker around before settling
  • Fixed a bug where the font in the digital gauges sometimes was too large for the gauge display so parts of the numbers were cut
  • Better error messages a few places and fixed a couple of minor other bugs

Enjoy!

Thanks for new software!

I waiting to added programing digital output to control cooler fan and pneumatic platform.

Im working on a plugin system for this sort of stuff myself.
4 extra outputs which ill be using as.
Intake Fan
Retarder Fan
Pneumatic Brake
Warning light.

Can set the manually or trigger them based on a condition of aux inputs into "yourdyno" bluebox.

Guys,

Functionality for the digital inputs/outputs are coming.

The idea is to be able to control outputs using logic of RPM within a certain value, brake on/off, press of a button, Anx values within a certain value, etc.

Let me know the functionality you would like.

I would like to brake the rollers after finish of run test (I have 2 large rollers about 2700kg). something like a brake curve from 4500rpm to 500 rpm, but for inertia dyno setup. this can be possible if brake controller setup menu will be available for inertia dyno.

there is an option to use brake dyno and set inertia value in compensate for inertia effects.... menu but have not tested

Bajudo,

There was 1 more person reporting that today. Is your error message that it cannot find Bootloader_UtilsWin32.dll?

I will look at it tonight.

In the meantime, try to uninstall and download the previous version (3.2.08, just modify the link), upgrade firmware and then upgrade the software again.
