can yourdyno data acquisition system be adapted to my land and sea dyno?
Hello,
Yes! Do you have a water brake? I have just a few weeks ago ordered the largest dual rotor land and sea water brake with a friend and it will be controlled by YourDyno (of course!) and be used for marine motor testing.
The water valve uses a stepper motor, which there is support for now.
Land and Sea has eddy current brakes too. They are supported either through a separate power supply, same as Telma and others, or the Land and Sea power supply. The Land and Sea power supply uses a 0-10V analog signal, which can easily be generated from YourDyno's 0-5V analog signal with the use of an amplifier. Let me know if you go this route, I can send you the schematic, it is the same we used for the Bosch FLA203 dyno, you can easily make it yourself.
Cheers,
Jostein
