Q&A Forum
Hello everyone,
I bought an test bench a few months ago. There was an analog speed and power pointer. Meanwhile, I have provided this test bench with a new color and the YourDyno set. it works nicely even if I have to learn something about the settings. The service by email is good but it seems useful to share the questions and experiences here. There are many braked test benches discussed here, this is an inertia dyno. Are there more people here with a simple inertia dyno? This rollerbank drives 2 fans with chain and sprockets, it seems that this gives problems with testing with different gears. The higher the speed, the more resistance? It looks like a variable MOI. Can this benefit or would it be better to drive these fans with an electric motor? Comments and ideas are very welcome!
