Q&A Forum
Hi. I have fla203 dyno with yourdyno controller and sport devices brake controller. Load cell is calibrated with 20kg load. Load cell is original from fla 203. lengh of arm - 60cm. Interia compensation 10,7 kg m2. Measurment is not ok, compared to other dynos. Result is reduced by about 15 percent. Horsepower correction from frictional loses is enabled.
Do you have any idea where i made a mistake ?
Horsepower correction from frictional loses is enabled. Dyno calculating loses when rollers slowing down when clutch pedal is pressed.
Hi,
The MOI may be more than 10.7 on this dyno setup.
The "Torque arm length to load cell" setting should match the distance from the middle of the brake axel to exactly where the calibration load is placed (not necessarily to the load cell).
If you still think it shows too little, you can enter a percentage in the "Enable additional horsepower correction". Next SW version will have this additional correction/calibration "silently" applied, i.e. it will not appear in the "HP corr. factor" in the dyno sheet, only environmental corrections will appear there.
That's great! thank you
