Eddy Current Engine Dyno controlled by superflow cycledyn

Hello I have a Superflow Cycledyn chassis dyno and I would like to construct a engine dyno.

Do You think it’s possible buy a Eddy current Brake and a load cell equal to the cycledyn and control the engine dyno with the superflow software?

I'm going ask a silly question , can you get into the superflow software and change parameters?

I think it is possible, but my goal is use both dynos. 
Do you ask me about change parameters for have the correct numbers (hp)?

What RPM testing range are you planning to run the eddy brake retarder at, as a engine dyno ?

What I'm understanding is you want to build a separate unit using a eddy brake , load cell & speed sensor and make just a engine dyno test rig.

You want to use the superflow controller and software to control the engine dyno and be able to switch back to your superflow cycledyno.

How are you going to configure the engine dyno parameters in the superflow software?

Yes this is my goal, do you think its

 possible?

I don’t know how to configure the software from superflow. I have to do some research on the manual.

I don’t no too much things about this but I saw some guys doing motorcycle engine dynos only with a eddy current brake a load cell and a speed sensor. I think if I can use the superflow software and sensor box I will have a engine dyno with a low budget.

Yes everything is possible, l wouldn't bother tying up your motorcycle dyno.... if you have seen it done i would be asking those people....

Otherwise best bet is buy yourdyno control box and have a stand alone engine dyno..... 

The reason i ask what RPM you are planning to rev the engine too direct coupled to a telma or any other electric brake is LOW rpm rated unless you plan to run some form of gearbox reduction. ( chain&sprocket setup)

What is the Max Rpm of a Electric brake?

the engines I will test made a lot of Rpm (16000). But if I connect to the gear box I can manage the rpm output.

Different brands of electric brakes vary in RPM speeds. But range beteen 2000rpm to 4000rpm.

I'm not saying they don't exist in higher RPM speed range.

I know Heenan&Froude back in the 1980's made a all purpose built  single stator water cooled eddy brake engine dyno that could handle much higher speeds. There was a twin_stator setup also.  Can't  remember the speed ratings but definitely no where near 16,000 RPM.

A big ask for direct couple 16,000 rpm from a budget conscious build.

I would be quizzing  the people that you know who have already tapped in the superflow cycle dyno running in tandem a engine dyno and definitely  ask them how diothey manage  the high RPM's association  with motor cycle engines.
